- App-Version
- Einmaliger Kauf, kein Abo.
- Tracking-Erlaubnis: iOS-Einstellungen > Datenschutz & Sicherheit > Tracking.
- Wer keine Werbung möchte: „Werbung entfernen“ (siehe oben).

For a bug report, please include:
- iOS version and device (iPhone or iPad model)
- App version
- What happened and what you expected instead
- For buzzer problems: whether the sound plays on the device speaker or on a Bluetooth speaker (model)
How to use
- Start, pause, resume: tap the big LED display or the round Play/Pause button below it. On the very first launch the app shows the hint “Tap the display or ▶ to start” until the clock has run once.
- Reset: The two Reset buttons under the display load the main duration (24 seconds by default) and the secondary duration (14 seconds by default) and start the clock immediately. The buttons show the configured values.
- Expired clock: Tapping the display then does nothing. Use a Reset button to continue.
- Display: tenths of a second (24.0, 23.9 …), rounded up. The digits are green at 10.0 seconds and above, red below. At zero the buzzer sounds (if enabled and not muted), the display flashes red three times, then a steady red glow remains.
- Top bar: Menu on the left; on the right Mute (speaker), Buzzer test (megaphone) and Referee whistle.
- Mute only silences the buzzer at zero, and only until the app restarts. The app always starts with sound. Buzzer test plays the selected buzzer sound right away, the referee whistle always plays the whistle. Both ignore Mute and the “Buzzer at Zero” switch.
Options
Menu (top left) > “Options”. All settings are saved on the device automatically.
- Main Duration and Secondary Duration: 1.0 to 99.0 seconds in tenths. A changed main duration shows in the display right away while the clock is idle.
- Buzzer at Zero: switch for whether the buzzer sounds at the end.
- Buzzer Sound: “Buzzer (Short)” (default), “Buzzer (Long)”, “Air Horn”, “Whistle” and “Electronic Beep”. The sound plays once when selected.
- Haptics: switch for vibration on taps and at expiry. It is only offered on devices with haptic hardware, so not on most iPads.
Buzzer on a Bluetooth speaker
Pair the speaker first in iOS Settings > Bluetooth. The buzzer plays as normal media output: through the connected Bluetooth speaker (A2DP), otherwise through the device speaker. It sounds even with the silent switch on, and music from other apps keeps playing. Speakers and headsets that only support the hands-free profile (HFP) do not get the buzzer, which then plays on the device speaker. This behavior (Bluetooth output and silent switch) has not yet been verified on real devices. Please use “Buzzer test” before the game to check where the sound comes out.
Remove Ads and Restore Purchases
- Menu (top left) > “Remove Ads” (last row) opens a sheet with the price from the App Store, a button to buy and the button “Restore Purchases”.
- One-time purchase, no subscription. The banner ads are removed for good on every device with the same Apple Account. After the purchase the row disappears from the menu.
- If a purchase is waiting for approval, the sheet says so. The purchase completes as soon as it is approved.
- After a reinstall or on a new device, choose “Restore Purchases” in the same sheet. Signing in with the Apple Account may be needed. The app also re-checks the purchase at every launch. After a refund the ads return.
- After the purchase the app shows no banner. From the next launch on there is no consent prompt and no tracking prompt, and the app no longer calls Google’s advertising software.
Advertising, consent and tracking
- The app shows a single banner ad (Google AdMob) at the bottom. The space is reserved, so the clock never moves. The banner appears only after any required consent prompt and is hidden while the menu or Options is open. Tapping an ad usually opens the advertiser’s page or the App Store outside the app.
- Change consent: Menu > “Privacy Options”. The row exists only where Google’s consent framework requires it (for example EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland) and only while ads are not removed. In other regions the row is not shown.
- Tracking permission: iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. The app asks at most once. Without permission the app works the same, the ads are just less personalized.
- For no ads at all: “Remove Ads” (see above).
- Details on data processing are in the privacy policy for the app.
Rate the app
Version 1.0 has no “Rate App” menu row and shows no iOS rating prompt. Both may be added in a later version.
Good to know
- Keep the app in the foreground: If the clock runs out while the app is in the background, there is no buzzer. An expiry noticed more than about a second late is deliberately not signalled. Tapping an ad or “powered by KI-Agent.pro” usually also leaves the app.
- The screen stays on while the app is active. The appearance is always dark.
- Languages: English and German, following the system language. Other system languages see English. There is no language switch in the app.
- Accessibility: VoiceOver reads the display with the seconds and the state (ready, running, paused, time expired). At the accessibility text sizes (iOS Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size > Larger Text) the controls restack and the wheels in Options are replaced by plus/minus buttons. The expiry flash is slow (2 Hz) and steady with Reduce Motion. VoiceOver use is still being checked on real devices, feedback is welcome.
